Description
A broad spectrum systemic antibiotic with activity against many gram negative and gram positive organisms, it can also act as a bactericidal in higher concentrations.

Dosage

Side Effects
- Anaemia
- Diarrhoea
- Anaphylaxis
- Bone marrow suppression
Warnings
- Do not give to pregnant/lactating rats
- Do not use for trivial infections, can be highly toxic
- Do not give salicylates (any of a group of analgesics, or painkilling drugs, that are derivatives of salicylic acid) or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs while administering this drug
